Replacement Panels Water Treatment Works

Scope of Works

Pronto Industrial Controls recently completed replacement panels for a water treatment works in County Down. The remit was to design and build two MCC’s to replace the existing three MCC’s.

Pronto Industrial Controls designed, manufactured, supplied, delivered, offloaded & installed the MCC’s in a 3 staged installation, this included factory & site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT).

The team designed and supplied a temporary 400A distribution board, to support the seamless installation of the MCC’s.

MCC1 was a back-to-back 630A Switchboard/Profibus MCC. It had an integrated 630A automatic Mains/Generator changeover system & 19 starter section comprising of 6 x variable speed drive & 13 simocode starter section.
MCC2 was a back-to-back Profibus MCC with 26 starter section comprising of 10 x variable speed drive, 16 simocode starter section, and ICA control centre.

Both were pre-programmed at Pronto Eng. and a FAT completed before embarking on a staged install. Finally a SAT was carried out before complete sign off and the temporary panel was removed.
