Pronto Engineering Group is a leading provider of industrial automation systems, industrial controls and a range of engineering products and services for the water sector.
Headquartered outside Camlough, Newry, Co. Down, Pronto Engineering Group has three divisions Pronto Engineering, formerly Pronto Automation Systems (ASL); Pronto Industrial Controls, formerly LMP and the newly established Pronto Water Ireland.
Pronto ASL was established in 2015 by local Software Engineer Rory McKeever, when he spotted a gap in the market for cutting edge technology and automation processes in the water sector in particular; a sector he has worked in for many years.
LMP Controls was established in Newry more than 30 years ago and after successful growth over almost three decades was acquired by Rory McKeever in 2018. This acquisition was made to complement the automation business with end-to-end industrial control and automation capability.
As the businesses continued to grow and new markets opened, the decision was taken to simplify the organisation under a new single group structure. In 2022 Pronto Engineering Group was established. It consists of three divisions Pronto Automation Systems (formerly Pronto ASL), Pronto Industrial Controls (formerly LMP) and Pronto Water Ireland to facilitate new product and service capability within the business
